More Band Stuff!
by So this weekend at Surf & Skate, the show was really great overall. (Favorites: Taking Back Sunday, Goldfinger, Finch, The Used, Thrice, Starting Line) But I realized some MAJOR problems I have w/ shows, well, mostly the PEOPLE at shows...this is to let anyone know if they do these things...they should STOP! :)
1. Crowd Surfers - Do they think people enjoy touching their sweaty bodies? or think we enjoy getting kicked in the head? or dropped on? my solution...i duck, always, if you fall, good, you shouldnt expect me to help!
2. Girls(or even nasty guys) with long hair - that isnt tied up. this is sooo gross, it's always sticking to you, and getting everywhere! once again, my solution? make no attempt to be careful not pull it...if it happens, again, their fault...think about it kids.
3. People who wear the shirt of the band they are seeing that day. - YOU DONT DO THIS! why? cuz its lame. (i have to give some credit to Sal on this one!)
4. Guys w/ no shirts - this might be the nastiest one, it is repulsive to be so close to some stranger w/ a sweaty back or chest! Plus, Karl informed me, that you actually sweat MORE when you dont have a shirt on, so WHY?!
I know there were one or two more...if i remember them i'll add it! or if you can think of any others!

you know what i'm sick of? people who are always making lists!! (kidding, kidding)...ok seriously I don't like people at concerts who don't protect small people...i'm always shoving poeple when i see someone smaller getting crushed. and one time I moved the whole crowd when this little girl fell...i felt SOOO bad.

yeah, I hate crowd surfers, but I love to crowd surf. haha. I just hate all the huge, 250 lb. guys who try to crowd surf on top of spindly, weak emo kids. at least I'm under 180.

I hate it when you get next to the nasty guy who has absolutely no interest in the band and seems like he has just come to get as close as possible to any female body! *shivers* its GROSS.
guys with no shirts however is beneficial when u want to get out of the crowd, just watch as everyone dives to get out of the way of you sweaty body, girls can attempt this too if they wish to.
however i doubt girls doing this would produce the same reaction :)
