What would you say the general personality of eZabel as a whole has been lately? Where's all the lightheartedness? Where's all the funny stuff? I miss the care-free days of eZabel. Nowadays I have to worry about people being so harsh to other users that they basically run 'em outta town. I have to worry about people going a little too far with their jokes or attitudes or opinions.
This is a public site for sure, and is not limited to any certain type of person. But please try to be a good eZabel citizen and make this a welcoming, loving place. And think twice before you post. Imagine your grandmother (or mine if you don't have any) reading everything you write. It'll make us all happier.

I agree that this site's 'tude is currently a bit harsh. And a little critical of those who are 'outsiders', but i think, to change all that, we should horsewhip anyone who gets out of hand. And caning (singapore style) should be instituted for all those who are going off on what they are saying, i mean, you don't use words like that, Saint Louise is listening.

actually i think everything changed when ian introduced the "macking" forum...suddenly, it's like everyone went to a house party with no parents and a lot of beer...it's a free for all...disgusting. although, somehow, i can't look away.
Personally, I love the macking forum, I find it hysterical $ entertaining at times, only a few of the forums in it, some are rather very boring! I think it could be the best thing to happen to this site in ages upon stages.

i like ezabel. i can't comment on how it was before i came. but i can see a marked change even in the short time i've been around. i hope the influx of new ones isn't making the older ones upset. if so--they should get over it.

I was thinking about that too..and I meant to comment on it. The watchtower was so amazing and great today! Just not only telling us to have upbuilding conversation but how to. And I know a lot of people, myself included, have a major problem with that.
