incidentally, its my vote for album of the year, beating out No Use, Alkaline Trio, and Mae. It's awesome. The mellowness does seem long, but it's better than 99% of the other stuff I could liste...
anyone else get it? It's good, but a little too mellow for me. The album goes through a long lull in the middle. I like most of the songs, just there should be some of the lively tracks to break...

Yeah i heard some of the ideas they had for the album production, seems very creative. cant go wrong when two excellent producers come together i suppose.

It's easy to do that. You love a band if you hear it, but they're bound to change in style and you don't always love that too. Saves the Day, for instance, started with short, harder quick punk...
