Vista is pretty nice, I've been using it for about 8 months. It's not a very compelling upgrade over XP, but there are a few nice things thrown in here and there. Overall, it's definitely better than...
Vista runs great with 2GB, though.
If you want to use any more than 3GB of RAM, you have to go with 64-bit Vista or XP, which is a bit of a crapshoot at this point.
