I bought a PS3 last night. Anyone else have one?

Lovely, so I just read that I can't play PS2 games on the PS3... Probably should not have assumed it would...

no, dude, im pretty sure you can. i think it just depends on the game. whether or not it's compatible or whatever.

In the latest models, they are phasing out PS2 compatibility to reduce costs.

PS3 blows... at least the 360 is backwards compatible with the majority of its Xbox titles....
