The heart is more treacherous than anything else. I can attest to that. I'd have to say you need to use more reason that heart. I think escpecially in relationships you need to use more reasoning...

Why do you think it's a mistake? To me, letting your heart decide anything seems to be a really bad idea, and it seems like it's a good idea to try to suppress it as much as possible.
