I'll beat him for you. Some people have no clue how hard life can really be, and that some people need to talk about it to relieve stress.

i like you. i like your family. You use ezabel as a kind of rant/venting outlet at times, which is ok. Other people do that too. You sometimes, though, do that a lot. This is a public site, where a lot of people lurk without making usernames, and read things about you and your family. We tend to discourage people giving too many details, because in this world, there are just too many creepy people out there.

Well...I think Ian has some work to do then. He should change it so that only people who are logged in can read anything. But that would require some work on his part and he has a ton to do on this site as it is. Haha... I love ya Ian!
I think everyone just needs to suck it up and deal with it. You don't like something someone posted, then don't reply.
I've thought about doing this. I'm undecided. I really don't want to do it that way tho. And if it ever does come to that, I'd rather just shut the site down completely.
Maybe you should make users answer some questions, so as to keep out weirdos. Like maybe, "What is the bible reading for the week?" or "What congregation does Ian Zabel belong to?". LOL!

I do have something to say on all this, but I don't have time to type it right now.....I'll respond in a bit to all of this....
Ok, by now I get it, that I talk a lot, and give a lot of details. For some of you who know me well, and have spent time with me in person, you know that is just me…I do it face to face as well….it's just a part of my personality, and yes, I have been working on it a lot.
What I'm not sure many of you understand is, exactly what it feels like to live in an area where you don't really have any close friends, and the people you feel closest to, who seem to "get" you the best, live hundreds of miles away, and you only get to talk to them online, and maybe see them once every couple of years.
And so you vent…..because you think that, because these people "get" you, then they will, if nothing else, be there for you if you need to talk. But very few people really offer, and so you think that if you vent, you'll at least feel better.
Yes, as Ian said, I've been burned in the past, and it caused some serious problems….I've since learned from my mistakes. But as far as information goes, while it may not be smart to post as much information as I do, it's still MY info to post…..and I consider it a good thing that I feel comfortable enough with all of you to share that stuff. I consider the majority of you my friends, and I love you all very much.
I'm not posting anything, at least in my mind, that offends or hurts people….a majority of what I post is just random thoughts I have throughout the day, frustrations I have that I want to share, and the occasional concern. I'm not trying to have a "Keirsten Pity Party" here….I know everyone has rough times they go through, and life sucks sometimes. I know that all too well. But put yourself in my shoes for even one minute….and try to understand all the stress I've been going through for however long, some of which many of you have no idea about, because I've felt it was too personal to share (imagine that….me? Not sharing info? :) )
I love you all dearly, and appreciate the feedback…I'm not angry with anyone, because you're all entitled to your opinions. And I am sorry if anything I hae ever said has come across annoying, boring, offensive, rambling….you get the picture. And yes, I have always been aware this is a public site….and I will continue to keep that in mind.
I just wanted to let you guys know where I'm coming from on this, why I do what I do, etc. Maybe eventually it will help you have a better understanding of who I am, because I really want to continue to understand who all of you are.

You can talk to me anytime Kiersten. I think some just haven't experienced enough in life to have an appreciation for you and what you have gone through. There are a few of us who know what it's like. ;o)
i wholeheartedly agree with you on this broman. life is tough and some peeps just dont get it. Im here for you also K, you can vent away, you got all my #'s.
Ditto. I haven't gone through anything anywhere near as bad as what you guys have gone through and I vent all the time. Like K said, life sucks, and the only things that make it bearable are God and good friends.

What people have to realize is, if you somehow missed it from ian cramming it in every chance he gets... This is a public website, anybody with a computer and internet can log in and read up on whats going on in our daily lives. It is NOT a JW website, we dont prevent ANYONE from logging in and reading everything.
I think everyone here understands that, in posting on here, you are accepting that you are letting BAZZILLIONS of people in on your life or atleast what you post about... (yes.. thats how many hits eZabel has... PER DAY! lol)
If I want to vent about how NOBODY HAS GOTTEN ME ANY TACO BELL IN LIKE MONTHS NOW... so be it... But I also have to realize that im opening myself up to the fat jokes, or unhealthy comments, OR the plain just no responses i normally get, lol.
I also want to comment on something that i have noticed... We dont have much drama anymore... I mean, believe me... ive been TRYING to start some... and you guys DONT GIVE ME ANYTHING TO WORK WITH! I think thats really awesome, I think it really shows that everyone is being loving, caring and all that other mushy stuff. Which is really nice... even if it is boring for me at 7 oclock on a friday night at work.
Overall, SpecialK id miss ya if you didnt post your little complaints/vents during the day... SO DONT GO A CHANGING ON ME

What i am saying is you need to learn how to use the internet. Email/AIM conversations are private, this isn't. I don't see why you feel the need to tell the whole world your business. This is a public website not private. Just because you have a few friends here doesn't mean the whole world can't read it. How about when your kids get older and their friends find their way here and start reading about all their child hood problems or "cute" storys?
Ezabel is a place to talk to friends and have fun. If i have to rant or a personal problem i talk to someone on the phone not broadcast my life openly on the internet. But hey keep doing it, its not my life. But when you say something i think is funny, don't get mad that i comment on it since you are posting publicly and inviting anyone to comment on your life nice or not.

Magnum, I don't know you, and you don't know me. I'm not sure why you are so intent on being rude to me, but if you dislike me so much and what I have to say, why are you so concerned with my life and that of my child?
And if you are so "internet concious" yourself, why not EZ message me this information, instead of posting it for all to see? Yeah, I know I post my information, but why do you care so much? You seem to be the only one.
Bottom line....my information is exactly that. I don't expect you to understand, nor do I really care if you do, at this point. If Ezabel is a place to have fun and talk to friends, why do you keep initiating drama? It's really not neccessary, and I don't see why, if you don't like something I say, you can't control yourself and just ignore it. Not every single one of my posts requires a comment....yeah, you can if you want to, but no one really wants to hear mean and hateful words. Where's the love we're all supposed to show for one another?
You were right about one thing though....it isn't your life....so please don't intrude upon mine, if you're going to be rude and have nothing nice to say.

They may be facts, but you are stating them in a rude manner, whether you realize it or not. And while it may be plain as day for all to see, it's still commenting on something involving me, therefore you are involving yourself in my life....view it as you want though.
