Well thats because you dont live less than 20 minutes from the city. NYC could be practically considered a weekly thing for me. I agree with change, but there are certain things you will miss if you move away from this area...

The only thing I really go to New York for is shows. And any proper city has shows. There's a funny experience to relate... One time I got into an argument (not really an argument but like a psuedo-debate) with someone because they didn't see any difference between London and Brooklyn. They were saying like, I don't see why you love London so much, it's everything Brooklyn is.. why don't you just move to Brooklyn. Ummm... no, not at all.
My distance from NYC has nothing to do with it. I drive an hour and 15 minutes one way, 5 times a week for work. It's 52 miles one way. I can go to NYC just as often as the next person. There was a time when I went to NYC every Monday night. Apparently you just like NYC a whole bunch more than I do. haha Which is coo. Everyone has their favourites. If you love NYC that much... than yeh, you should stay near NYC and not move away.
Well, I dont know how much I LOVE it. I mean, I would leave it if I had a better opportunity to, but its hard to compare other cities to NYC... I guess its just that Im used to it and its a good way to just clear your mind. You go into the city you walk around and you can just loose yourself and sit back and watch other people... Than you come home and get back to your life...
Guess you gotta evaluate and weigh the options. Personally, I've already decided to move away from this region, as much as the friends in the band are trying to get me to move to Philly (which I almost listened to.. and probably think I'll still be doing). I think the fact is, in my own situation, I can't expect any new girls to move into this area. The new ones that are gonna be moving into the area from this point on, are gonna be married. I highly doubt a single girl around my age is gonna be coming to town.. I live in a place catered to married couples, families, and the aged.. so highly unlikely I'll be seeing any prospects staying here.
As sad as that sounds its true. Its the same in my area too, not many single sisters in my age group will move here... this area is catered for people who can afford to live here and most single sister or brother cant afford it...

You're rright. I do feel like an outcast. Don't worry, I'll only marry out of love & only date out of love. Otherwise life will be miserable. So, in the meantime, moving from exciting city to exciting city will be what I do to enjoy life.
Glad I'm not the only one that feels like an outcast. Haha... It was funny, when I went to a congregation in South Texas, an elder there was introducing me to all the single sisters. So it definitely depends on the area. Some areas don't have many available brothers. That was one of them.
