Very few people on this site seem to use their own name as their eZabel name. I was wondering what the story was behind some of these crazy names. (And if you want to share your true identity, go for it).
I'll start--> TOXICGIRL: On msn im my font is lime green. I was talking to my friend from Scotland who always complained about me using toxic green, he could barely see it. So he started calling me toxic girl. End of story.

the writer who did the new treatment of the willy wonka book never saw the Gene Wilder version. he went on the book alone. he finally watched the movie and he said his draft came out much lighter than the Gene Wilder flick. either Tim Burton is gonna do a very dark and creepy rewrite, or he's gonna make a LIGHTER version of the film from a visionary writer who's mind isn't tainted with visuals from the original film. i can't wait to see how this goes.
I hope he doesnt wreck it - the gene wilder one was dark enough that it was still very light and fun... I didn't see the underlying stuff till i was way older and jaded. lol/jk
I think Johnny Depp would be PERFECT. he's awesome in the quirky roles the only thing that I'm going to be scared of are the oompa loompas, they'll probably make them more scarier than the original...
Not sure about scary as much as psychodelic. But being orange and short munchkins was psychodelic in it's own rights.
Either way with Burton doing it and Depp as Willy Wonka it should be incredible.

ahhh yes, I know there has been suspense in the air as I finally give everyone the story behind my screen name . . . which is as follows:
One night a few friends and I hung out at some random playground at night, but it was dark out, though it was a beautiful night . . . at any rate, we were swinging on the swings and playing on the see-saw, and i actually slammed down on my end of the see-saw really hard and the girl flew in the air and fell off the other side. She was kinda sore after that, but she healed pretty quickly.
So I told her we don't ever have to go to the playground again because I would be her playground. And she could play on the milty-bars and stuff. And I told her she could be the beanie-go-round (her name was Sabrina - I called her beanie - let's move on). But that's what inspired the entire playground concept.
From that point on, I vowed to be a playground at all times, but on foot, making me a "walking playground." A long story, I know, but I think it was worth it.

haha . . . NO. actually, there's a more obscure origin for the whole playground thing, but if anybody knows it, they they'll be sure not to mention it, believe me . . .

OmEgAtwEEtEr - there's two parts to my name. i chose OmEgA cuz it's greek and i'm part greek and it sounds pretty cool. twEEtEr is a nickname about 4 years old. i got it from school when this dude started callin me twEEtEr, cuz it rhymes with Peter. i liked it cuz the name fits my stoopidness and kind personality and stuff, so i stuck with it. i'm also guessing that he just saw the Varsity Blues movie (but i never saw that movie). i always capitalize my vowels in my screen names, i dunno anyone else who does, so i thought it'd be something original.

tesoro means treasure in italian...wayyyy back in the day..okay like 4 years ago thai was in love with me and would try to swoon me by talking to me in italian..so he started calling me tesoro..then i thought HEY..what a niffty idea for a s/n..and that my friends is how my eZabel name was concieved.
i always loved this story. and it makes me really happy that i know at least one word in italian. there was an effort put in by several old couples in my hall when i was younger to only speak to me in italian and i used to be able to do it, but no, no more. upsetting.

Tinser-Actually, it was my brothers nickname (don't even know how that got started), but a long time ago, when AOL first started, my whole family shared the same screen name, and my brother decided that the name we used should be Tinser...but eventually, my family stopped using the name, and i kept using it. He would always use the word "jolly" when he talked about how happy he was when he landed a snowboard trick. So when i was first creating my Login name he was sitting across the room making fun of the teacher. So I got Jolly from that.
