by I know like the majority of everyone likes punk...i use to like it but now its only good when i'm in the mood for it...i remember going to Coney Island High in the city and Warped Tour but that got all annoying. I think people should go back to music like Beach boys and the Chi-lites. I know you are going to bash me but whatever. Punk has a great vibe but its uhh i dunno, whatever. Is there any other music that you peeps listen too like indie rock, oldies, brit-pop?

I used to listen to punk only, but now i listen also to alot of hip hop, and some rnb. I also used to listen to techno/trance and such but now that stuff just makes my head go nuts.

I always describe myself as being eclectic when it comes to music. I don't have a genre that I prefer over everything else. I can contrast my feelings of one genre over another one, but I'm not like, "I'll listen to this type of music and nothing else." Anybody can come over my house and pick something out of my collection that they would enjoy, because my library is so varied. I like rock, punk, emo, ska, breakbeat, house, avant garde, bossanova, jazz, swing, classical, folk, industrial, oldies....... no, not everything....... but, variety.
oh yea, im with you.. i LOVE all types of music... people make fun of me for some of the stuff i have.. i LOVE Credence Clearwater Revival... and yes.. i like the monkees and beatles. I can listen to jazz and bluegrass... hmmm and i like some hardcore and rap, but i do LOVE punk... the only thing i really cant stand is country, it makes me sleepy...
i love everything too...EVEN county and oldies and lots of stuff....punk is the most fun to listen to...and the concerts are definatly the best...and i've been to way different varieties of concerts, so im not just talkin' outta my bum. haha

Just listen to whatever you like. I listen to everything. Some days I like to listen to a good oldie, like Led Zeppelin or The Who. Some days its the 80s. Some days I am feeling mad and frustrated and I need to listen to hardcore, some downset, perhaps Sick of it all. My roots will always be in punk though. Sometimes I get in a different music style kick, but it always comes back to punk. face to face, NOFX, NUFAN, Lagwagon- it always comes back. It just makes you feel goooood.
I don't own anything besides punk, for the most part. I Love the bands mentioned by bally, and I'd like to add a couple--Strung Out, Good Riddance, Less Than Jake, BR, Ignite, HB, Madball. I recently started listening to some more main stream stuff such as Incubus, because they have such good bass lines, and stuff. Oh, I absolutely LOVE Cat Stevens, I remember listening to that when I was young, and I never got sick of it. Great stuff...great stuff.

however i'm an EOL ... equal oppurtunity listener.. .i'll listen to everything once... and give you my honest opinion.. however if people ask whats my MAIN preference.. i'd say hip or rock.. depends on when and what i need and want... i like birds.. enough said.. so i guess you can say i like the EAGLES : On a dark desert highway.. cool wind in my hair.. warm smell of colitas.. rising up through the air...
