by So, all of you know me as the "punk princess" and well, most of you didnt know me about 4 years ago when i was more into the ghetto fabulous way of life. For the past couple weeks, ive had some more influence of the ghet-toe world. Am i returning to my roots? (GETTEM---GOTTEM---BLING) Well, anyway, i decided to return to my old screen name "Teeny494" b/c theres been some issues with "superdork" that ill spare you with details. So im sitting online, and i realized... this used to be my old AOL sn, (but im on aim) so since i at work i can use AOL, i sign on & check my old Teeny494 profile....FROM WHEN I WAS 16!! and while reading this remember i was SERIOUS while i wrote these things... aim is just the instant messanger part. aol is an internet service provider that provides you with instant messanger and email. aim is free.... aol is not.
and the fact that aol sucks VERY much so

b/c you can use an aol sn on aim.
to clarify tina's response, and actually use punctuation:
you can sign up with many AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) screen names for free. you cannot use one of these free screen names to logon to America Online (AOL).
you can pay for a membership to AOL, and you get about 7 screen names as part of the deal. on AOL, you can give your AOL screen name a profile. AOL has a built in Instant Messenger that is not the same as AIM. you can then use any of those screen names to logon to AIM for simply instant messenging. if you logon to AIM with an AOL screen name, you will not get your AOL profile.
