by Today the state of New Jersey deemed it was time to give me freedom in the form of a drivers license. That's pretty cool. While I had my permit the one thing I would always do is stop at a stop sign and count each time to three. It became kind of a joke with some people. What's the one thing I forgot to do while taking my test? Yeah, I didn't stop at the first stop sign. Oh well, she passed me anyways. I am free to roam wherever I wish...when my parent's aren't using the car that is.

Actually, it was a woman and she said since I had done everything else so nicely she gave me a second chance to go around again and the second time I stopped so she passed me.

The guy I tested with wouldn't let me put the car in "Drive" when I was parallel parking. He said that wasn't "real" parallel parking. I rolled my eyes and he passed me anyway. :)
Brad got his lisence today too! I think i was more nervous than him.
i told him i would never talk to him again if he failed. he said he wouldn't even bother taking it again if he did, he would feel so unworthy.

I think I've been doing good for my first day. Drove around with Vanessa and Julie (Malibu) as well as my little sister..drove with the E-brake on for a while, hit a curb, and backed up wrong twice.
breakin the rules and the car on the first day was a good time.

My boyfriend was not amused when I back into his neighbors garden (it looked like weeds to me). But..I'm a better driver then him so it evens out!
Oh,, thats not good, but if your a better driver then him id hate to get in the car with eiather of you, but thats ok we all do it, infact when i first was able to take my parents car out , we all went out to eat,, and i end up backen up into a car in the parking lot, then theres the time, when i had like 6 people in my little civic and back up into a telaphone pole really hard,, infront of a crowd of people, it was histerical, and about 2 years ago,i dint see this little old lady walk across the driveway i wasnt payin atention i guess,or somethin, and i MUST HAVE HIT HER nose by a hair,, it was SOO CLOSE, that was the worst ever,, fortunatly i have taken note of my driving a little bit more now adays.. !!!

About 6 years ago, I was driving my ex-mother-in-law's van out in service in Chester and backed into and knocked down a householder's mailbox... and I am an experienced driver. The householder said don't worry, lots of people don't see the box...
