Alcohol is not allowed in the State Park and we don't need any trouble. We all bring hotdogs (we had a lot last year) but we don't want to run out so its not that hard to go to the store and purchase a pack.
sounds Fun, hopefully i'll be free that day. Can i bring a friend cause i don't like driving by myself & my family will be away so it'll just be me...?

this bonfire is gonna rock!!! we learned from mistakes we made last year and will not make again. (like not settling near the part of the beach where cars get stuck in the sand.) hope everyone can come if you are in the state---you better. bring anything you want. definetely enough to care for whomever you come with for a day at the beach.we may even work in some volleyball and things like that. anyways see you all there.

Yes sir, I wathced many Monty Pythons when I first moved in to my apt and i had no furniture, no cable, no food, I had the tiniest TV ever cracking up in a hard wood floored empty apt to monty python at like 11 at night.

and there is no pressure to get there early. lots of people have work or service. i mean the bonfire won't start until it gets dark around 8. and since the bay is a walk across the rd. we can watch the sun set as we lite the fire. so call me or lynz for directions but once you go into island beach state park just follow the rd. all the way down past all the lifeguarded pts. there'll be a sign that says fisherman's walkway. park over there. there's a boardwalk to bring you on the beach and we'll be sitting around there. hope to see everyone there!!

Just don't think it's possible. we have the project in jersey city all day and have to be back at our hall by 5pm. Practice is going to be at least 3 hours. at best we wouldn't be there until 9:30-if we aren't dead by then.

Exit 82!! Home..
That's a map of the whole route after you get off the parkway. Take exit 82 (not 82A) off the Parkway South. As far as I can tell it's exit 82 if you're going parkway north as well. You're looking for route 37 east.
-Take 37 east over the bridge.
-Take the first exit on the right (not the first right turn though, there are side streets before the actual exit) towards Island Beach State park (from the map it looks like you're getting onto 35 South but I've never seen any actual signs for that there)
-Follow the road on and on and on until you get to the gates of Island Beach State Park. Don't stop until you get there.

Good times..just got home. Too hott to sleep yet. There were a few faces from the "yes" list that did not show!
Also, very few picked up their garbage (like cans and water bottles). This would normally just annoy me but my dad commented on it (since he was the one that ended up cleaning it all up) and said how he couldn't believe how people did that. More important was the inference that he couldn't believe witness kids would do that. Seeing how he isn't a witness this bothered me but..just something to keep in mind and it didn't ruin the night because everyone behaved and fun was had with fire.
ouchie! gab and i had an office party we kinda had to make an appearance at, but we DID try to come around 9 but the dude at the gate turned us away. we were sad. though we went to the boardwalk and rode the sky ride. good times.
