so, speaking of cars...i dropped off my 2001 audi yesterday to get some work done on it...and they gave me as a rental a 2007 Audi A4. i am selling my old car if anyone is interested, or knows anyone who might be. it is a 1987 nissan maxima with 175,000 miles on it. i just got it inspected, and it drives well.
UGH my parents got me a maxima when i was 21 and i HATED that car. LOL i should not have complained since it was a nice car and i didnt have to pay. but i hated it and didn't do anything to it but gas it and go. BUT i must say they are GOOD cars cause that thing lasted a LONG time lol
if anyone wants to buy my car, its a 1984 bmw 318i with fourteen million miles on it. it goes 0-60 in 26 seconds. and it broke down twice on the way to the first day of my new job today. miraculously recovering, i got it going both times and still made it on time. then i waited and got it towed after work.

Has anyone boarded their dog in a kennel? It's normally not an issue because my inlaws always watch Atlas...but we're all going to a memorial service for Austin's great gramma in Maine...so I'm kind of having a nervous breakdown about it. I'm so nervous about kenneling him.
i would recommend a dog-sitter service instead (because I work for one!) and the animals have a lot less stress being in their own home plus no chance of catching weird diseases from other animals or an inexperienced worker doing something stupid.

I always have the wackiest dreams when 1-I'm sick and 2-I wake up and fall back into a semi-sleep. (This morning was both) I had a horrible scary dream early this morning. And when I woke up, I knew it was a dream, but it literally took me an hour or so after I woke up to realize there is nothing true to it. So disturbing. Dreams are powerful.
This is the worst! The same thing happens to me whenever I'm sick, especially right in the middle of the day (when you try to get some rest). The last time I was sick I kept having this recurring dream, when I would wake I'd be all flustered, breathing deeply + trembling =(
Most of it had no bearing on real life but, a little bit did which made it worse. The mind is such a complex thing but, it's also really intereting just learning about ourselves.

Went to the Russian congregation that my friend + friend's sister & brother-in-law attend. It was such a great experience. I didn't get called on for my comment but, I was sooo excited just to be there! Sucha a great hall. Incidentally they were saying farewell to some friends some going to Ukraine and another couple going to upstate New York to try and start a Russian group =) I would luv to do something like this!!!! ***SQUEEEEL***

I've been to the Huntingdon Valley, PA one, several times.
There are some foreign languages that are groups hosted by other congregations. I have a friend in the Arabic group, they don't have the theocratic ministry school & service meeting in Arabic they just meet with the congregation who's hall they share then the Sunday meeting is in Arabic partially translated. The Russian where I visited are a complete congregation in Nyack; they share with two other congregations French + English.
The Huntingdon Valley Russian is a complete Congregation as well.

I concur. Would you believe our landlords at our new place were adamant about us NOT painting? The husband is a sheet rocker, so he said he hates the thought of crappy paint on his walls. I understand that, it's just ironic that I planned to take time off from work to paint, and now I can't. Managed places typically don't care if you paint it back to the original color when you leave.
That sucks, painted rooms make me feel happier than boring white/cream.
Your landlord probably doesn't like paint because it's harder to cover up the bullet holes.

I took an Allegra the other day and it didn't help at all. I took a Benedryl Allergy last night before I went to sleep, and I slept fine, but still woke up with a sore throat.
Maybe I should try a Claritin.
ugh! I'm so with you on that. I've been rotating Benadryl, DayQuil, and Mucinex. It's beautiful outside, but deadly. AND my throat is so hoarse I sound like George Burns.
u need a decongestant. try claritan-d OR if you take allergra take a sudafed as the decongestant. *ive been hitting the allergist for YEARS so all of this in ingrained in me.
Claritan-d is the only thing that works for me.
I think I'm finally going to cave in and get the shots this year.
I've been taking fish oil for the past month and i really haven't been bothered by my allergies much at all this year. i really think it's helped!
