I sprained my ankle a few days ago. The kids were cooperative the first day, now they are being lazy and not listening. Meanwhile I'm cripple and grumpy cuz of it. Well... I'm always grumpy, but that's besides the point. haha... Anyway, I don't even remember what set me off, but I yelled at her and wacked her, making her cry seconds before the school van came by to pick her up. I gave her a hug and said I was sorry, but she was still mad at me. And Jake...He's always mad at me for some reason. Then I told Emily's teacher that Friday will be her last day of school, since she is going away to her Aunt's house and then to FL to her moms (Monday is the regular last day). So I get a reply that Emily says she is going to live with her mom forever and won't be back in the Fall. So that made me feel even better. My kids hate my guts. Lovely... I know they don't really, but still hurts.

Alright, I'm nervous. I'm 90% unpacked in our new place, my family death drama has subsided, so I've turned my attention to a job search. I've created a document with about 7 potential paralegal jobs near my house, and 1 ad that I can't stop thinking about:

I just sent an email to the address asking for more info about the job, since sending my resume with all the law firms I've worked at won't sell me for the position. How awesome would it be if I got a cooking job that actually had daytime hours! I think the place is a market that has prepared food; I happened to see a commercial for a market in that town (obviously a mom & pop place) that touted their prepared foods. That would be really cool because I could come up with interesting recipes and make them in bulk, rather than stress about making lunches or dinners at a restaurant. Oooh, I'm so nervous about it! I wonder what they'll say.

OKay , So i don't think anyone realizes how fun the space saver bags are unless you have used them. In 10 minutes i packed 6 XL-bags, and laughed and smiled like a kid the entire time, It was REALLY RIDICULOUSLY FUN. & I was very close to vaccum packing my dog. I swear Vaccum pack something today and it will be worth your while!

Got the nicest compliment this weekend.
I am fairly close to a majority of my congregation. With those I am NOT as close with I'm working to get to know them better.
I especially endeavor to reach out to the bible studies so that they genuinely feel welcomed.
There is one sister who is actually the only youth in my immediate age range. A lot has been going on in the last year and unfortunately this sister's husband is no longer w her, additionally she has taken back her maiden name.
At the convention this weekend this sister asked if I would like to come when she returns to Honduras and pioneer w/ her =D
Things have a way of changing so quickly but, I don't mind.
I am seriously considering it and I let the sister know that.
Of course she needs to officially return to her country, get situated w/ housing, get reestablished back in her congregation there.
There's time to make a final decision, in that time I'll continue to work on my goals HERE =D
Obviously there is ZERO doubt in my mind about the joy & innumerable blessings, and wonderful experiences that result in this kind of service.
I'm very flattered that she valued me so much ESPECIALLY after my only being part of the congregation for a little more than a year this summer. I'm SO EXCITED!!!

Wow, that's awesome! We're actually going to Honduras in (probably)February. My brother and his wife are in Danli. (They were there for a year, then came back to work for a year and just went back again this past week) This time they will be there for about two years pioneering.
When we go, we will visit my sister-in-law's brother (him and his wife are missionaries) in Roatan...then go to Danli for a couple days.
Pretty exciting. You should def do it.

Last night I was at a bbq and someone made beer chicken. I've never heard of that before but you drink a little out of a beer can, cut off the top, shove it into the cavity of the chicken and set it upright onto a grill. I didn't try the chicken but everyone raved about it and said it was super moist.

So both of my friends that visited to day have fairly broad builds and they filled out the chairs so tightly that it was uncomfortable for them to sit directly next to each other. Fortunately one of my smaller friends volunteered to switch spots and sit between them so they could literally have more "elbow room" =P

*phew* good! that is something that is so often misdiagnosed. my youngest sister went into the ER with a high fever and crazy ache in her gut. they said it was the flu. a few hours later after giving her tylenol and her fever rising rapidly we were back in the ER. she couldn't even stand up straight. her appendix had burst and she was rushed into emergency surgery. she was in pediatric ICU for a week! it was so scary!!
So even though I hate NJ with all my being. If it is anywhere I have to live in NJ I am glad I am where I am.
With fuel prices so high I can do so much on just my bike.
Foodshopping, Beach, Bank, Post office, lolygag. I could even go to the kingdom hall if I went to the one in my territory.

Are you subbing just for your content area (you're getting your secondary cert. in history, right?) or anything you can get? I didn't specify that I wanted just English so I have been: a gym teacher (horrible), special ed, math (several times), and history.
