For most of my machines I change my desktop every 15minutes or if it's a computer I use alot every hour. Thus whenever I see a desktop pic I like I dump it into a folder that gets added randomly... it is kinda refreshing to see new stuff

a file is a bit of an overstatement, while I was NEW (and only then), if I read a post that gave me a talking point, i'd make a note, mental or otherwise, only to have something to talk about...
i.e. Like even in RL if I see a left hander, i mention the Cross pen thing, those pens that you twist to get the tip out, most lefties concede that they suck, but they didn't or don't know that it sucks only for lefties! Just minutiae to fill conversation.
I tend to 'forget'so as not to creep peeps out. I seem to have total recall... now that is a bit twilight zone. ;-)
like out of my curiousity, why would you care like before meeting everyone? isnt the fun part of meeting new ones getting to know them independantly and along the way you find fun things out and say "OMG thats rad to know" or "awww thats so cool you shared"

I'm absolutely loving the US OPEN. It's such a powerful and elegant exhibition. There's DRAMA too! Mike Russel, because of a bad call, during the match, said the ref was a disgrace to the US OPEN and to Tennis, lol. There's also a spot of improv comedy. Roger Federer is crushing this Chinese guy named Yeu-Tzuoo Wang. One commentator says "he's really whippin' the Wang." I don't have any contacts that I can think of in Ottawa. ( a town full of bureaucrats... and diplomats ) The thing to do there is to skate on the Rideau canal, but it's not winter. :-( The other side of the river is Hull Quebec, it would be the funner side.. more pub/sports bar type places.

It's working for Hillstone Restaurant Group, but on the corporate side. I'd basically be an Administrative Assistant, but the pay is really good, and they have full benefits too. I also get free meals at any of their restaurants, which are located mostly on the west coast, and places like Texas, Denver, Cafe R & D....which by the way, is in Newport Beach....Gina, have you heard of Cafe R&D?

Ok, so the lady called and set up a time to meet with the GM tomorrow, and she said that she really enjoyed meeting with me, and that I did a great job. She even offered a "haeds up" and some advice on meeting with the GM, since she said he's more "by the book" than she is. I get the impresion she really wants me to get this job. Which, is awesome, because during the initial interview, she mentioned that within 24 hours of her posting the job online, she had over 150 resumes sent to her....so if I am the one who gets it, I'm gonna be SO STOKED!!!!

Ok, that show "Celebrity Duets" is great...it's like American Idol for celebrities, and MOST of the celebrities can sing. It's got stars like Lucy Lawless (Xena), Carlton from the Fresh Prince, Cheech Marin, Chris Jericho, Lea Thompson, and one of the gay guys from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy".....and THAT guy can SING!!!
It's great, because they do the duets with REAL singers, like Gladys Knight, Michael Bolton, Peter Frampton, Randy Travis, and Leean Womack. Some of the celebrities can NOT sing, and it's REALLY bad to see them overshadowed by the actual singers.
