so i call this agency that is supposed to be sending me a student identity card. it's good for travelling and student discoutns,,,blah blah blah. so i call and say how i sent my proof of id and money and such but i still havent gotten the car or a confirmation email saying they got all my stuf. so the guy gets really annoyed and he checks the computer and goes. "dont worry we got it. it got sent out on the 10th" so i just say thanks and hang up. now i'm looking at a calander......and the 10th isnt until next weeek. why did he use the past tense for the future? uuuughghgh. so aggravating.

I know we're covering mostly the same material at the circuits but, I had mine just this past weekend and really enjoyed it! My friends grandmother (they call Granny) Hermana Acetuno had a part about overcoming obstacles in the ministry her advanced age I had my camera so I zoomed in and caught a pretty good shot from the balcony (I LUV THE BALCONY).
Then a ministerial servant from my hall who's wife is an evangelical gave his experience about keeping his regimen with a divided household but, still fufilling his obligations as head of the family and chief provider.
Lastly my friends husband (new fulltime pioneer) gave his experience of how he adapted to be able to move from auxillary (which is still amazing) to fulltime.
It was overall a very encouraging program both days but, it was especially nice to have friends from my own hall up there; since I've talked to them about trying to reach their goals and seen them put the effort forth and now to see them getting the blessings for that extra esfuerzo =)
We also had my little friend (12 years old) and two sisters I didn't realize were getting baptized make their dedication.
I need to type up/spellcheck my notes lol!

MINI STORY: HOW BEING BILINGUAL SAVED MY BROWN BUNSLast night I had to work (getting ready for today) until 8:00pm HOORAY! Not, lol!
Anywayze knowing I was ;low on gas and wouldn't have time to stop this morning I popped by the ATM for some cash.
There are several restaraunts around the ATM and a grocery so I felt pretty safe.
While I was getting the cash there wasn't anyone nearby.
As I was leaving the ATM I heard a deep male voice yell "HEY" I don't know anyone that sounds like this person, and I didn't see anyone I knew anyhow so I kept walking /increased my speed. At first I rationalized to myself with all the possible witnesses this dude is not going to attempt anything.
I WAS SOOOO WRONG! This Joker sped up behind me and started SCREAMING "Hey you can't say hi to nobody!?!" I quickly walked up and over to the entrance of a returaunt kitchen, then peeked over my shoulder.
The guy stopped (AND NO I DIDN'T KNOW THE LOSER)I approached this guys outside of the kitchen...didn't even occur to me to speak English,. I told him I was being followed and that the guy was SCREAMING after me.
The man was so nice he said to stand over by him out of the rain. After a min the man asked if I still saw this random fellow. When I finally looked the man was gone but, the kitchen guy asked me where my car was and told me he would watch me to my car...and he did. As I drove off I waved and rolled my window down to thank him.
It'd be an understatment to say my feathers were ruffled but, I'm so glad I could communicate efficiently enough to get out of that pickle...saved my buns, let me tell you =)

so yesterday i got this letter from the "british lotto" saying I won the international lotto crap or something and they sent a check for just under $3000 for international "clearance fees" that I cash and send to some agency and then I get the lotto money. Obviously a scam-the stamp on the letter is from canada, no return address, the post mark say "from anywhere to anyone". The "clearance check" looks like a company payroll check and it bears the name The Staywell Company. The checks say Fleet Bank on them so they may be old since fleet was taken over by bank of america. Also I looked up Staywell in a directory and they are a healthcare management company so what would they have to do with the british lotto. makes me think maybe these checks were stolen. Anyway, I think I should report this, but I'm not sure to who. Anyone know or have any suggestions?
