So our receptionist just said to me, out of the blue, "You're in the truth, right?" I was stunned! She said she was raised in the truth, that most of her family still is, but that she doesn't study anymore. It's funny because she was just telling me this morning that she can't wait to get more christmas decorations up around the waiting room! I guess holidays really are a roadblock for many.
Apparently, one of the attorneys here was telling her that I don't celebrate thanksgiving and mentioned that I'm a witness. I'm digging the fact that like everyone here knows I'm a witness now - it's giving me chances to have informal discussions.
i had one of my co-workers come up to me adn say the same thing a few years back when i was at the surf building....she asked if i was going to the convention. which i almost fell outta my chair cause i was informed she was a lesbian. LOL anyway she told me she was raised a witness she left it as it didnt fit her lifestyle. i kinda chuckled cause i knew what she meant.

My Wiiiii day!
Got to Walmart at 4:30am. Was the 19th person there, 30 Wiis to be had. All were accounted for and tickets were handed out at about 5:15am for the 7am opening.
5:30 a kid shows up that was really disappointed that he missed out on the tickets at that store, as he had to go to work early and couldn't go anywhere else. He offered me $300 for my spot in line. I took the money and ran. weeeeee
Headed to Sam's Club and sat in line (3 other people) for about 20 minutes but decided I didn't want to hang out in the cold. So I went to Toys R Us, and was 27th in line. They had 98 in.
Got my Wii + Zelda + Rayman + Remote + Nunchuck. And $300 CASH. LOL. Such a great day. And I'm wiped.

okay, so ready for this...on black friday, we are getting a panasonic 32" LCD HDTV from Home Depot for $400!!! they have 7 of them and the store opens at 5am, but because Austin is there like everyday of his life, the guys are grabbing one off the floor for him as soon as they are released! I hope it pans out. woot woot.

Here's my little Wii recon for the night. This is for Rockaway, NJ.
- There was a line of about 25 people outside of the Target at about 7pm this evening. They're getting 80 there.
- Toys R Us in the same location is getting 100. About 15 people on line there, including three kids with a TV and a GameCube going.
- Best Buy is getting 60. About 40 online last I checked.
- Sears is getting 7, but you have to buy a bundle. No one on line as of 7pm.
- Walmart there is getting 10-15. 3 on line.
I plan on going over there at like 5:30am, and just getting on line with the place that has the best chance of picking on up :/ Hope I can get one!

i saw it too. i had high hopes, which it didn't really meet. i was expecting Shrek or Ice Age. go into it expecting Lilo and Stitch (or, even better, March of the Penguins), and you will be pleasantly suprised.

the ads said the 17th, but the news this morn said that it came out tonight at midnight which is the 18th, i think they just got it wrong..
it came out this morning at 12:01am in most places. in NJ, though, it pretty much came out this morning because our stores aren't 24 hours.
Yeah they were saying "It's coming out tonight at 12" but i knew they were wrong.
I'm really curious how well it will sell.
It will sell out completely, for months. Just like the 360 did. For a good 6+ months, it was hard to find a 360 in stores. It'll be very similar with the PS3. And the Playstation just has such brand recognition that it really is going to outsell the other consoles by a large margin.
