they blew that game just like the giants blow every game. If that idiot didn't give up that penalty for the first down they would have had it, as well as the botched interception and most of all the punt return (HORRENDOUS). They had that game, now you know how a giant fan feels.

oh yeah i forgot the retarded time out calling in the 4th and the idiotic challenge he did. If they didnt waste the time outs they could have had mroe time to get farther down field and even possibly get a touchdown. I was very frustrated watching that game. From the opening they looked like they were going to dominate, and brady even gave up 3 int and they still lost. DOH

Orange County's coastal plains could experience patches of frost tonight and Saturday night as a blast of Alaskan air moves through the region, the National Weather Service says.
Overnight temperatures the next two days will be in the mid-to-low 30s across much of the county and could drop to 29 degrees in canyon areas protected from the winds. Cold air is heavy and tends to sink to the surface of the Earth.
Forecasters said there's a slim chance that the county will get brief showers today. But the storm clouds will disappear by early Saturday and a mild Santa Ana condition will develop, producing 30 mph gusts inland and 15 mph to 20 mph gusts near the coast. The humidity level inland could fall below 20 percent.
The weather service says that the combination of low humidity, dry, cold air, moderate winds and a lack of rain raise the prospect of wildfires across Orange County.
The storm that preceded the cold air Thursday barely budged the seasonal rainfall total, which stands at just over an inch, three inches below normal for this time of the year.

I'm seriously considering hiring someone. It's getting to be too much for me. And Emily is not doing well in school with her behavior so I've been forced to leave work a lot.
Has anyone ever gone to an allergist before? I stayed home sick yesterday because I felt so crappy so I think it might be time to get those horrible shots. I got the name of an allergist from my regular doctor, but are there any tests that a good allergist should definitely perform (or not perform)? I don't know how to judge if I'm getting the best care.
i go to an allergist and get shots twice a week. and yes you get tested...on your back...there's about 100 up and down your back.

ha no no. he also said he had a hard time hearing me during my talk. my head is so congested that i am having trouble with volume. also, the brothers in our hall have a policy that they don't adjust the sound during the meeting. they just turn it on and off at the end and play the songs throughout.
that sounds like a dumb policy. isn't that why we have microphones, so we can hear everyone. maybe they are too busy (not enough brothers) to handle this little thing.

Anyway Chris and I were saying, how is it that she looks the same as she did in 1990, she was old looking 17 years ago and she still looks exactly the same. I don't get it. And so today i Googled her. And she was old looking even back in the 70's. So again I was baffled. But then I realized she was born in 1922. So even 20 years ago, she was in her 60's. Even 35 years ago, she was in her 50's. So, that explains it.
Having said that, she's awesome. I can't believe she's like 85 and still kickin and sharp and funny as ever!
having said that, what "starlet" of today do you think is gonna still have a career at age 85? Who is still gonna be alive at age 85? Who is gonna live past 35 is an even better question.

I hope she recovers ok. I know how painful the process of healing from reconstructive knee surgery can be. Play the Rocky IV soundtrack for her while she does physical therapy. That's good motivation music. :o)
Does she have to use that machine that bends her knee for her? That's what I used for the first 3 weeks after surgery while I was home from work.

She's in a full leg cast for the next week or two, so she's not doing anything yet.... we'll see what kind of therapy they have her doing once it comes off
Oh. I guess since it was the knee cap and not a muscle or ligament, that it needs to sit for a little bit. I didn't have a cast. They stapled the wound shut and I was told to put it in the knee-bender machine right away. Taking a shower was brutal. I slipped once...I think I screamed like a little girl. Haha...

She had the ligaments on her knee fixed up, and also part of the bone of her shin moved. She's got screws now!
I have screws too. It's always fun going through a medal detector. I guess the cast is there because the shin was fixed too. Man, she really got roughed up! If it heals properly it'll all be worth it.

Do the screws really give you trouble in metal detectors? The Dr. said it wouldn't...
I had mine done before 9/11, 11/3/00 to be exact. So maybe before that they didn't care if they were metal.

the sister i was working with had an appt to do a study with a woman who lives down the block from me. the woman was so nervous (her husband screamed on another occasion that the sister was there) and was like 'i can't do this, my husband is going to be home any minute. you have to leave.' well he pulls up just as we are backing out of his driveway. we saw him whip his truck around to follow us. We went down this long, windy, heavily wooded, sparcely populated road that goes around the lake. We couldn't stop there so the whole time we were trying to figure out what to do (i don't know about her and her daughter but i was praying). we thought about going to the police station but there are 2 cops in town and they were probably at Cumby's eating donuts. so we decided to go to her house where her husband and a couple of other brothers were working although we weren't sure leading him to where she lived was the best idea but we didn't know how long he would keep following us. plus jesse nicholson was one of the guys at the house (and if you know him you know why we would run towards him)so it seemed our saftest option, plus if necessary we could have him hauled off for trespassing. She pulled toward the back of property and he followed. He freaked out at her and said he called the cops (right)and blah blah stupid tirade blah-did i mention he was completely toothless? he left after the confrontation which wasn't as scary as being followed by him and not knowing what to do. the reasoning book never covered that one.
