Have you guys heard about the hurricane in Honduras that is a category 5? My brother and his wife are in Danli, and my bro's father-in-law spoke to them yesterday and said a lot of people are evacuating, but they were in a safe spot, but the hurricane hit this morning, and communication is down throughout the country, so i'm so nervous until we hear from them.
Plus, my sister-in-law's brother & his wife are in Roaton, which is a coastal city, so they are in a really bad spot. ugh, this is making me so nervous!

i know some of you live out in the brains of NJ... did you's see a spectacular lightning display? i was out in the poconos all weekend and saturday night i saw the most amazing lightning storm ever! it spread allll over the sky, different colors, nonstop! like a strobe. totally insane.
i wish i'da shot it-- i probably coulda used it in a movie at some point. oh well.

Suspect arrested in shooting
Man and woman were killed on Anaheim street.
The Orange County Register
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of shooting two people to death early Saturday. Pete Quintana, 31, of Anaheim was booked on suspicion of murder in the deaths of Juan Carlos Garcia, 27 and Angelina Barraza, 38, of Anaheim.
The police had the deceased woman's name spelled as either Barraza or Barazza.
At 1:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responding to calls of shots fired discovered the pair lying on a sidewalk with several gunshot wounds on S. St.
Police said they have confirmed that Quintana and the deceased woman had a past relationship, although details are still being pieced together.
"We know the victims were friends but do not know at this time the extent of that relationship," said Sgt. Tim Schmidt.
Officials are still investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call: 714-765-1944.
