speaking of funny videos
i actually watched Patrick Stewart on Extras this morning and spit milk all over my monitor.

fivezero #193.3.1 fivezeroOG 2003

hahahaha, i saw that a while back. quite hysterical. i wish that show wasn't over.

juicymango #193.4 juicymangoOG 2003

thefunkyfresh #192.1 thefunkyfreshFounder

he's funny. that show is too much tho, i can't take it!

superhero #192.1.1 superheroOG 2004

i gotta say, i enjoyed last night. it was interesting, Faraday is my favorite character by far, and I felt like the writers took their time with the plot to figure out what was really going on BEFORE they started writing, which they didn't always bother to do previously.

fivezero #192.1.1.1 fivezeroOG 2003

yeah, i can tell the story is finalized. they have it ALL figured out now.

juicymango #192.2 juicymangoOG 2003

it was a hot pocket!

fivezero #192.2.1 fivezeroOG 2003

i knowww. what kind of hot pocket?

jp #191 jpOG 2003

any pictures from the show floating around out there? there were so many flashbulbs going off, there had to be...

originalsnob #191.2 originalsnobOG 2004

I didn't really take a lot of pics but, I might be able to get you a few.

originalsnob #191.2.1 originalsnobOG 2004

Surprisingly, I found more pictures of just lil' kiddies and their various groupings than I did of the actual performances. I'm sure some more will turn up :o(

fivezero #189 fivezeroOG 2003

i really like Crispin Glover's Creepy Thin Man character in the Charlie's Angels movies. fighting like Jackie Chan in a three piece suit and sniffing a girl's freshly ripped out hair... to a Prodigy soundtrack, lol.

did you see vh1's 100 greatest rock songs of all time. pretty disappointing. they had "inna gada da vida" in the top 20, and that's not even a rock song. number one was welcome to the jungle, which is a great song, but number one rock song OF ALL TIME? i dont think so.

what was the number one hip hop song of all time on their list?

fivezero #179.1 fivezeroOG 2003

i did see most of the 100 Great Rock Videos dealy. couldn't really get into it. too much crap. strangely, I connected much more with the Hip Hop list. Fight The Power by Public Enemy was number 1.

the whole list is here:
http://stereogum.com/archives/vh1s-100-greatest-hiphop-songs_024391.html

thefunkyfresh #179.1.1 thefunkyfreshFounder

these lists are pointless

fivezero #179.1.1.1 fivezeroOG 2003

ha. not from a marketing standpoint. but, yeah, anyone with a mind of their own has a personal register thus obviating these enumerated lists.

A
alexOG 2001

no, these lists are fact. if your opinion differs from vh1's then your opinion is obviously wrong.

And he's only a "green level" so I don't think he's actually dangerous. And he looks like he drinks beer a lot so naturally I could take him.

malibu #164.2 malibuOG 2001

did you recently visit the bookstore? there's a book called the sociopath next door and it's all about the random people that live among us and feel no remorse. i think the cover has that fact about 1 in 25 ppl.

iwz #161 iwz

I've been using Vonage for about 4 years now, I think. They just told me they're raising my rate from $15/mo to $18/mo. With taxes and fees, that's about $24/mo.

So, I just bought an Ooma from Amazon for $220. Even, wIth a $40 fee to transfer my number, it'll pay itself off in less than a year.

Hope this is a good move! :)

superhero #159 superheroOG 2004

i went to see Seven Pounds. Interesting movie, although it was definitely predictable. wait for DVD, and don't even rent it from Blockbuster, get it from the library for free.

beachgirl32f #159.1 beachgirl32fOG 2003

we have a dollar movie theater here in the mall so we wait for the movies to go there since we dont want to pay 9 bucks to see a show. if the movie does not make it to dollar theater then we will rent it cheaper see ing it at the dollar theater lol

thefunkyfresh #159.2 thefunkyfreshFounder

yeah they just raised ticket prices AGAIN at my theater. i paid $10.75 to see Valkyrie. It was good, but not ten dollars and 75 cents good

ilikebirds #158 ilikebirdsOG 2002

I hear the ending is good. However the rest of it is long and boring... Truth?

fivezero #157 fivezeroOG 2003

Everyone go see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button immediately.

iwz #157.1 iwz

yeah! it was really good

A
#157.1.1 alexOG 2001

i was thinking about seeing that today. saw the spirit instead. i made a bad choice. it was horrific. i dont know why i wanted to see it in the first place. but you get to see eva mendez's butt, so it's ok.

fivezero #157.1.1.1 fivezeroOG 2003

you know, just when I think you're the shallowest person I know, you somehow manage to drain a little bit more out of the pool, lol. go see Button. it's pretty excellent.

A
alexOG 2001

so your saying im not the shallowest person you know? i dont understand, lol.

it's a seinfeld quote. nah, you're not the shallowest. but you're up there, lol.

forrestina #157.2 forrestinaOG 2002

I didn't realize it was based on a written piece. Here's the story: http://xroads.virginia.edu/~HYPER/Fitzgerald/jazz/benjamin/benjamin1.htm

fivezero #157.2.1 fivezeroOG 2003

Yes, ma'am. Very loosely based on the short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Fun fact: The script for Benjamin Button was written 20+ years ago, but film technology at that time wasn't advanced enough for it to be pulled off. So, when screenwriter Eric Roth began adapting the Forrest Gump novel in 92, he saw many similarities between the characters and infused portions of the Benjamin Button script into the Forrest Gump script. I almost want to call that laziness. I don't know. Anyway, David Fincher comes along and says "We can make Ben Button now!" And he had Roth do massive rewrites to the Button script, making it what it is today. Even with the overhaul, many of the themes, plot points, and characters arcs are strangely similar. So, when people say that Button is kinda like Gump, that's because to any discerning film goer, IT IS!

superhero #157.2.1.1 superheroOG 2004

my wife likened it to Forest Gump, all on her own. very interesting.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003

well, that's because she's perfect. duh.

B
brothermanOG 2004

so did I. In fact I was telling my wife after we saw it that it reminded me of Forrest Gump.

So chris and I went to New Orleans this weekend and it was great and fun and awesome but we were also deeply affected by the condition of the worst-hit areas that were the most affected by Katrina - where a whole neighborhood basically got washed away - so I have started a team on Brad Pitt's "Make it Right" campaign website and if you happen to have $5 that you can spare today and you want to donate to a charity - I duno, I kinda trust Brad Pitt, haha -

Go to http://www.makeitrightnola.org and click the orange Donate Now button.

Then enter the dollar amount of the donation and click “Make Donation”. Under the section 2 of the payment screen use the pull down menu to find our team home name…The Kamila Harris Photography House!

B
brothermanOG 2004

What time?

A
alexOG 2001

2 o'clock.

too bad you cant come brian, we could use some big fat guys to play line. although you and dan are both very soft. you'll probably just get knocked on your butts.

B
brothermanOG 2004 alex

LOL... Yeah cuz it's easy to knock over 6'-3" 235 pounders.

There will be snow on the ground anyway. How are you going to play?

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 alex

hahaha, i play line very well. i'm fat, but i'm fast and quite sturdy. nice try.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 fivezero

and if we ever do play together lets hope we're on the same team because i'll definitely try to chop your collarbone in two with my hand, lol

A
alexOG 2001 fivezero

uh huh, we'll see how fast you are, and i will make sure we are not on the same team.

it's funny how guys that are big and fat think they are hard to tackle. but really they are much easier to tackle, cause when you hit them its like running into a big pillow with bad balance. i would much rather try to tackle you or dan than a guy like me or todd. tackling someone that is thinner and muscular hurts, better to just wrap em' up. when your tackling a big fatso, just hit em' as hard as you can and they'll fall over...wont get up too fast neither.

we will play if there is snow on the ground.

originalsnob originalsnobOG 2004 alex

WOW a big pillow with bad balance. There will be blood one of these days. Hopefully I will NOT be present.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 alex

haha, i'm not saying i'm faster than any of you little, thin guys. i'm just saying I'M a pretty good lineman. i defend well and i'm known to sack now and then. it's true that when fat guys get tripped up by a defender they tend to fall faster than thin dudes. now when it comes to full on tackles, i'd have to say it depends on the big guy and how fast the little guy is moving. this is all simple physics. i don't even know why we're discussing this, lol. we all know, as a rule, thin people are better than fat people. isn't that your point? i think one day something appropriately bad will happen to you and you'll smarten up.

A
alexOG 2001 fivezero

yeah, maybe one day i will get karate chopped in the collar bone by a fat dude.

my trash talking is not working i guess. i just thought if i insulted you enough, i could get you mad enough to play with us, lol.

iwz iwz alex

A
alexOG 2001 iwz
