Although I have met friends that have been assigned to serve on reservations out west, somehow it just escaped me that literature is actually available in the native tongues. My friend from Montreal send me pix from a Native/Aboriginal Festival which was held in Toronto last month. At the festival some brothers (from varying Native tribes) set up a booth with literature in Blackfoot (woot!), Dakota, Navajo, Montagnais, and Inuktitut just to mention a few.

Heres my story about plaxico burress - when he played for pittsburgh and garrett lived in pittsburgh, garrett worked at circuit city and plaxico would always come in all decked out and buy everything off garrett-they were pretty much bff..anyways, he came in with HUMUNGUS (how would you spell that?) diamond earrings and garrett asked him if he could just have a little chip off of one of them for my engagement ring and all smug and cocky he was like 'hey man, you wouldn't want to hurt these babys'. true story. Garrett + Plaxico = BFF! hahaha.

Anyhow, am I completely PAGAN because I just spent the ENTIRE weekend in the "spirit of the season"??? Rented "The Force Unleashed" for PS3. Awesome game!
yeah, i was playing it until my wii broke. now it just sits on my shelf, helplessly.
how'd it break? did you throw your controller at it or something?
so the Force Unleashed has these long cut scenes in the game that are somewhat cool the first time, and annoying every time after. Also, you can't save in the middle of a level, becasue it only takes you back to the beginning of the level - AND YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE CUT SCENE AGAIN.
Typically, I play games in 5 to 10 minute increments (ie, while the wife is cooking dinner) and I spend my entire time watching these cut scenes, i never get to actaully play. So I left the Wii on in the middle of my level, since I thought I'd come right back. Turns out I got back to it 3 weeks later (come on I went out in service a lot, people!) and the Wii was frozen. Restarted it, (and then got distracted), went back a week later and it will no longer read discs. Good times.
Let this be a lesson to you all. Nintendo will fix it for $75 + tax + shipping. I talked them down to $50 but that's like a new game right there. However, I'm probably going to mail it back this week because that new Shaun White snowboarding looks really fun. It even works with the Wii Fit board. However, by the time I set that all up, I should have driven myself to do some actual snowboarding with actual friends in actual "real life".
You left it on for 3 weeks! LOL!

I was awaken abruptly this morning by a very disturbing dream that is only a slight variation of one that's been recurring for a while. This time the dream went further than it's gone before.
I'm on my way somewhere driving.
Somehow I wind up on a drawbridge like the ones on the way to Jersey City. Instead of the bridge being closed it's partially opened and cars in front of me are going over the edge into the water.
